Macarons!!!!!

I finally got up the courage to try my hand at making macarons. If you are not familiar with macarons, google it. You will find plenty of pictures and descriptions. Now, I'm not exactly sure that they came out exactly right. So within the next couple of days I will do some research and possibly report back. They look exactly like they should, I'm just not sure if the texture is right. I made a plain almond cookie with nutella filling. Here's a picture:

Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies

These are probably my favorite chocolate chip cookie that I've ever made. They're definitely more gourmet than the average chocolate chip cookie. but oh so delicious. key ingredients: course sea salt, caramel topping, 60% cacao dark chocolate bar. now, the caramel isn't really noticeable, but it definitely adds to the rich flavor and consistency of the cookie. and the thick salt crystals off-set the deep chocolate beautifully. picture:

Or rather, White cupcakes with raspberry filling and raspberry cream cheese frosting. I signed up to make 2 dozen pretty cupcakes for the relief society birthday party  tonight. This is what I came up with.

German Chocolate Cookies

I love these. I was wanting something that had the amazing coconut frosting that you would normally find on a German Chocolate Cake. But I didn't want to hassle of a cake. So I found this great recipe for the richest, most scrumptious cookies I have ever eaten. Here's what they look like.

Carrot Cake (or cupcakes)

So after making this same delicious carrot cake recipe 3 times, I have finally taken pictures and will share the beauty of them with you. This is the best carrot cake I have ever had, it's so moist and light. I did some with walnuts and raisins, and some plain. I like the plain better since they almost melt in your mouth, they're so soft. It also has a perfect cream cheese frosting on top to compliment the carrot/cinnamon flavor perfectly. Here's the pictures:
